Unique set of medals from the opening of the trans Canada highway in 1962. Includes the issued sterling silver medal (unmarked) number 76 that has been lacquered back in period. There are also 2 lead patterns for the medal. Each pattern is slightly different from the finished medal showing the earlier design proof.
Our raw (uncertified) coins are inspected and graded by our in-house staff using traditional Canadian Standards. We mention all major varieties and a few (but not all) minor varieties. We understand there are multiple grading standards that vary worldwide so we strive to take the best photos possible of the coins for you to evaluate the condition for yourself.
